 Longden

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored three outstanding students from Longden Elementary School at their meeting on November 21, 2006.  Pictured with the proud students is their teacher at Longden, Mr. Dan Ferguson.

Jessica is 11 years old and has 5 brothers and sisters. Jessica enjoys music, soccer, softball, and acting. Jessica said, “the best things about school are recess, art, and P.E.”  The best thing that ever happened to Jessica was when she went to the mall met Magic Johnson.  Jessica has goals of building an amusement park, getting into acting, get good grades, and be better at softball.

Aaron is 11 years old and has one older brother. Aaron said, “the best things about school are the big school, good food, and great teachers.”  The best thing that ever happened was when he received this award from Kiwanis.  Personal goals Aaron is striving for are to build a school, stay away from drugs, and be a good kid.

Bobby is 11 years old and has one older brother.  Bobby enjoys role playing in computer games.  Bobby said, “the best things about school are the good teachers, schedule, and the kids.”  The best thing that ever happened was getting a computer.  Personal goals Bobby is striving for are build a game console, get more friends, and get a good job.
