Kiwanis Honors Cloverly Students

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored two outstanding students from Cloverly Elementary School at their meeting on November 7, 2006.  Pictured with the proud students is Cloverly teacher, Mrs. Pat Wenzel.

Justin is 11 years old and is in Mrs. Wenzel’s class. Justin enjoys playing soccer and the drums in the school band. Justin said, “the best things about school are the great teachers, the school has a great library, and the wide variety of assemblies and activities.”  The best thing that ever happened to Justin was when he adopted his dog Rudy from the pound.  Justin has goals of stopping terrorism in the world, building homes for the poor, speaking German, going to a good college, and becoming a doctor.

Michelle is 11 years old and is in Ms. Tenney’s class.  Michelle has three brothers and sisters and enjoys playing the piano.  Michelle said, “the best things about school are the understanding teachers, fun activities, and the great staff.”  The best thing that ever happened was moving to Temple City and attending Cloverly.  Personal goals Michelle is striving for are to build a machine to help with her daily chores, to maintain her grades, take care of her baby sister, and to help her parents.
