Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored Jonathan Martinez from the Community Learning Center at their meeting on October 17, 2006.  Pictured with the proud student are CLC teacher Mr. Paul Griffith and Principal Dr. Doug Sears.

Jonathan is 17 years old and is in Mr. Paul Griffith’s and Mr. Reggie Rios’ class. Jonathan has three brothers and sisters and enjoys hanging out with his friends. Jonathan said, “the best things about school are the one-on-one attention, break time, and the teachers”. Jonathan’s goals are to build a mansion for his family, to graduate CLC, go to college, and to be rich.
