 Emperor

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored three outstanding students from Emperor Elementary School at their meeting on May 8, 2007.  Pictured with the proud students is Emperor teacher, Mr. Greg Giangregorio.

Raymond is 11 years old and is in Mr. Giangregorio’s class.  Raymond has two older sisters and enjoys playing interesting video games.  Raymond said, “The best things about school are Mr. “G” (best teacher), recess, and my friends. The best thing is having real nice parents because without them nothing good would happen.” Raymond has goals of owning a big company, being successful, and becoming rich so his parents would not have to work.

Julie is 11 years old and is in Miss Parrille’s class.  Julie has a younger brother and sister and enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and swimming.  Julie said, “The best things about school are the excellent teachers, good education, and wonderful friends. The best thing that ever happened to me was moving to Temple City and going to such a great school.”  Personal goals are to get good grades, go to a good college (UCLA), and stick with her best friends forever.

YoYo is 12 years old and is in Ms. Carlson’s class.  YoYo has an older brother and enjoys making jewelry with beads, listening to music, and playing tetherball.  YoYo said, “The best things about school are the great teachers, the great equipment, and it’s big.” Personal goals are to be the President of the YoYo Sisterhood, get good grades, read more books, and have more friends.
