 Emperor

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored three outstanding students from Emperor Elementary School at their meeting on April 18, 2006.  Pictured with the proud students is Emperor Principal, Kathy Perini.

Cody is 11 years old and is in Ms. Krista Carlson’s class. She enjoys math, reading, playing the piano, and traveling. Cody said, “the best things about school are the wonderful principal, nice teachers, and staff members, excellent learning environment, great friends and classmates.” Cody has goals of getting straight A’s, becoming a doctor and giving help to people who need it, and to achieve her best in the future.

Wesly is 11 years old and has an older sister. Wesly is in Mr. Giangregorio’s class. He enjoys video games and technology. Wesly said, “the best things about school are the good teachers, friendly kids, and the distinguished school.” Personal goals Wesly is striving for are to build a new type of solar powered computer, to go to Harvard Medical School, be a pharmacist and help sick people.

Joshua is 12 years old and is in Miss Parrille’s class.  He has one older sister, and enjoys computers and basketball. The best things about school are math, the teachers, and P.E.  Joshua said, “the best thing that ever happened to me was moving to Temple City.” Joshua has goals of building a hovercraft, able to fly and move on land and water, go to USC with a scholarship (which makes Miss Perini very happy), help in his church, and be a better basketball player.
