Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored two outstanding students from the Junior Academy at their meeting on April 18, 2006.  Pictured with the proud students is principal, Dr. Doug Sears and Sharon Ransons. Both students are in Mr. Ron Bridges’ class.

Jenni is 15 years old and has two younger sisters. Jenni enjoys reading and whatever she is in the mood for. Jenni said, “the best things about school are being away from my family in order to actually miss them, the friends I make, Mr. Bridges and everything about his class.” Jenni has goals of building an animal and forestry sanctuary, to learn to fly and get her pilot’s license, to meet James Blunt and Tyra Banks, and to actually learn to play her guitar.

Brian is 15 years old and has a brother and sister. Brian said, “I enjoy skateboarding, getting out of school early, the cool teacher, and meeting new friends.” Personal goals Brian is striving for are to build his own skate park, to graduate, get a good job, and get his driver’s license.
