 Emperor

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored three outstanding students from Emperor Elementary School at their meeting on March 14, 2006.  Pictured with the proud students is teacher, Ms. Krista Carlson.

Aimee is 11 years old and has an older brother and sister. Aimee enjoys playing soccer, softball, snow skiing, and water skiing. Aimee said, “the best things about school are the teachers are nice and help the kids who need help, the teachers teach us new things, and the kids care for one another.” Aimee has goals of building a machine to feed everybody in the world, to get straight A’s, get a home run this softball season, and to score a goal in her next soccer game.

Michelle is 12 years old and has five brothers and sisters. Michelle enjoys taking care of her pets and collecting animal decorations. Michelle said, “the best things about school are the teachers, students, writing and science.” The best thing that ever happened to Michelle was when she got her first pet. Personal goals Michelle is striving for are to build a shelter for people and pets, get good grades, know a lot about animals, and be a good writer.

Susan is 12 years old, has one younger brother, and enjoys the computer, internet, writing music, movies, shopping, dancing, sports, and hanging out with her friends. Susan said, “the best things about school are the staff and student relationships, making new friends, and increasing my knowledge.” The best thing that ever happened to Susan was meeting her brother for the first time. If Susan could change one thing, it would be for love to take over hate. Personal goals Susan is striving for are to get straight A’s on report cards, meet new people and make new friends, and participate in any academic or social opportunity.
