Kiwanis Honors Cloverly Students

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored Pauline Chan and David Tran from Cloverly Elementary School at their meeting on March 6, 2007.  Pictured with the proud students is Cloverly teacher, Mrs. Michelle Naylor.

Pauline is 11 years old and in Mrs. Naylor’s and Bayer’s class. Pauline has a younger brother and enjoys playing and drawing. Pauline said, “the best things about school are math, reading, and art.” The best thing that ever happened was getting a smart dog. Pauline has goals of building a 5 star hotel, getting straight A’s, going to a good college, and to be successful in life.

David is 11 years old and in Mr. Lee’s class. David has an older brother and sister who have also been chosen Students of the Month. The best things about school are his friends, the library, and classrooms. David has goals of building a new home for his parents when they grow older, to get good grades in school, go to college and graduate, and be a good pianist.
