Kiwanis Honors Emperor Students Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored three outstanding students from Emperor Elementary School at their meeting on February 13, 2007. Pictured with the proud students is Emperor teacher, Mr. Greg Giangregorio. Caroline is 12 years old and is in Ms. Carlson’s class. Caroline has one younger sister and enjoys basketball, reading books at the beach, shopping, playing the piano, and talking with her friends. Caroline said, “The best things about school are cool teachers that make learning fun, great academics, and positive attitudes.” The best thing that ever happened was the first time she went to Emperor. Caroline has goals of stopping pollution, building a big mall, getting a great score on her CAT6/CST, getting straight A’s, and becoming a Harvard student. Jacqueline is 12 years old and is in Mr. Giangregorio’s class. Jacqueline has an older sister and enjoys basketball, art, writing, reading, swimming, singing, and traveling. Jacqueline said, “The best things about school are the teachers, field trips, and projects.” The best thing that ever happened to Jacqueline was getting her two dogs, Freckles and Bacon. Personal goals are to get all A’s again, save all my money, and to be successful in life. Kelly is 11 years old and is in Miss Parrille’s class. Kelly enjoys art, biking, reading, going to school and learning as much as possible. Kelly said, “The best things about school are that everyone is so friendly, the helpful staff, and how the school is organized.” The best thing that ever happened to Kelly was coming to Emperor and seeing donations going to charity. Personal goals are to learn more about nature’s ways, to unlock the secrets in astronomy, and to be happy and more calm. |
