 Emperor

Kiwanis Club of Temple City was pleased to have honored Bryan Uribe and Cara Sinclair from Longden Elementary School at their meeting on January 23, 2007.  Pictured with the proud students is their teacher, Miss Samantha Jennings.

Bryan is 11 years old, has a younger sister and enjoys football, riding ATV’s and dirtbikes, and playing video games. Bryan said, “the best things about school are having the best teachers and good classmates, most of the people are nice, we have a clean school and fair rules.” Bryan’s goals are to build a football field and court for off-road racing, get better at subjects in school, and to go to the Super Bowl again.

Cara is 11 years old, has an older sister and enjoys horseback riding, soccer, and drawing. The best things about school are recess, writing, and art. Cara said, “the best thing that ever happened to me was going to winter camp for the first time with my church.” Cara’s goals are to build a house for her family, to own a horse, do well in school, and to be a better Christian.
